753 Drive motor

Hi everyone,
Just joined the forum although I have had a bobcat for quite some time. I am having a drive motor problem and can't seem to find the correct replacement. Even Bocat shows out of stock on both the motor and the seal kit. My machine is a 1993 753, S/N 508620796 and the drive motor has 6657024 stamped on it and the Bobcat site shows 6681605 as the compatible replacement, but as I said, it is out of stock. Does anyone know where I can get a new or rebuilt one or even a rebuild kit? I would REALLY prefer to avoid used, which is all I have been able to find.

It looks like Loader Parts Source has both of the parts numbers in stock. Be prepared for sticker shock.

Hi Phil, I have a 1991 753 that I picked up about a year ago. The machine had its drive motors rebuilt (new seals) last year by GD Equipment in Shippensburg, PA 717-530-0170. I'm told this type of work is their business. As they obviously bought parts for my drives, they may be able to help you find what you need for your machine.

Thanks guys. brdgbldr, that wasn't sitcker shock, that was sticker electrocution! I hope I don't have to spend that much.

For my 753 Eaton motors I got them from Stoens in MN 320-634-4360. $2200 each. This job cost more than half what I paid for the 753.
