yesterday the machine shut down- no functions and wont move-
it doesnt even sound like the pump is riunning-
it was low on fluid but i fixed that.

how can i get this machine to roll just so i can start to look at it inside in the warmth?

you can try towing it by having some one sit inside skid steer and use hand controls to go in direction you want it to roll it, this works on many of the older hand foot controls machines so worth trying

as soon as i try to use huydralics- bucket function or levers to move the machine shuts down

I was saying to DRAG machine with motor OFF< you can on many older machines, drag them by again using hand controls with MOTOR OFF
other wise wheels will be locked up!

Are you sure the drive belt hadn't broke and lodged itself causing it to shut the motor down, it's very easy to check. It's on the right hand side in front of the battery. You will have to remove the grey flywheel cover next to the battery to see the belt

Not sure the machine would kill if the belt is broken or off but could if stuck or wedged on something as it was coming off. I think it's worth a look.

thanks-
machine inside by help from above-
i put 3 gallons of hydro fluid in machine and cracked a couple lines to try to purge some air out. machine started and moved and had bucket functions. took the machine outside to move a snow pile and it shut down as soon as the arms started coming up-
hard stop
could the pump be air bound and shutting the machine down under load? machine starts and runs but loads up and shuts down when asked to move or use its functions

751 hydraulic system capacity

Hydraulic Reservoir 14 qts. (13,2 L)
Hydraulic/Hydrostatic System 6 gals. (22,7 L)

If you put 3 gallons in the reservoir it was very close to empty!
I would guess the system could have air in it. Are you sure the system isn't leaking when not running and sucking air when running?
The real question is why was it at least 3 gallon low?!! Have you looked for puddles and/or is the bottom of the machine full of the missing oil?

I have never seen air cause a load on a machine, that said you have to find where the oil is going I would be looking for damaged lines or fittings, I once where a person put a nail in a hose and it would move and block the flow however it could not move down stream to cause any real damage.
Question did someone work on the machine and left a rag/ shop towel stuffed in a line? Is there a damaged line that got crushed or fitting? or hose?

is the auxiliary on? on the 843 and 743 easily done and that starts the machine under load
Agreed, very easy. My old 743 would bog down but not die. The Kubota in my 743 was (just my humble opinion) a far superior engine than the standard French Puker (Peugeot) I have seen in the 751's.
I do believe the Kubota was an option so that point could be moot.
