751 skid steer lost drive and bucket functions

My friend has 751 that ran fine until yesterday. Started running slow (drive) and bucket losing speed and power. He parked it and today has no hydraulic functions at all. Didn't make and noises. I told him to check oil and drive belt, and he says they're fine, though I don't know if he actually located the right belt. Is it visable from engine compartment? I'm familiar with hydraulics but not this machine. He doesn't have manuals or schematics, and I can't find any on internet except to buy one for $100. Is there one pump for drive and bucket functions? If so, I'm guessing either the pump, but more likely an actuator not functioning; maybe bad ground or fuse or link? Can you help me help him? Yes , the drive belt is on the left side. If u drive and try to lift,with no engine bog. Does it slow down. Check the drive belt tention. The tenioner has a pointer. under no load it should be around 2:30 o'clock.3:00 o:clock is max.

Thanks for responding biggie. The engine does not bog down. He says the belt is tight, but didn't know about the tensioner pointer. It certainly sounds like a no-flow condition. Also, there is a light on the console that stays on after the engine starts running. He says it looks like a gear. I'm heading over there after I take my daughter to an appointment this morning. Any other ideas for me to check when I get there? Is there some sort of primary actuator that engages flow when any function is engaged? Thanks again, Bob

The drive belt is behind a plastic guard so the owner likely was looking at the alternator belt.

The drive belt runs both the hydraulic and hydrostatic pumps. The light on the console means there's no or very low pressure in one or both of the systems. There's no actuator the pumps run anytime the engine running.

its rare but does happen,ensure the hydrostatic input shaft pulley has not slipped the key.
