743b skid steer right side only moves in reverse.

I have a 743 and it will only go in reverse on the right side. the left side works perfectly. I read another post on here that a guy rebuilt the hydrostatic motor. im assuming these are the ones on each side in between the tires. if so I think im in the right directions just want to verify

Miburk, I would have to study the internal flow diagram on your model, but if you can you might try to reverse the heavy (#12 - #16) lines on the affected drive motor side and see if the direction changes. If it does then I suspect you have a spool valve problem / swash plate issue or spool positioning issue or possible relief valve issue on the right side portion of your hydro-stat pump. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but if the drive motor will go one direction, it should go the other direction as well, the motors don't have any directional components within. Thats my 2 cents worth! JLM

Miburk, I forgot to mention before you try switching those lines, you might check your cable mechanics which control the spool valve on your Right drive portion of your hydro-stat pump. Making sure the cable moves the pintle or spool valve in both directions and returns to center. JLM

I'd suspect a bad relief or even a bad seal in the drive motor too.
After you ensure the linkages are ok, you can swap motors from side to side and see if the problem moves. If it does, it's the motor.
