so iam having problem with the right side drive. i put a new o ring kit in the right drive motor. there was couple o rings that were bad. got it all together. started it up and the right side seemed to be good except it when you went forward it would go backwords so i swapped the hoses at the drive motor and it went forward as it was suppose to. put wheels back on and took it out for a test drive. it is better but when i try to dig it wont spin the tires on the right side. left side will spin but not the right. the drive motor looked good other than some dirt/bad o-rings so i dont think my problem is it as it wasnt as bad of a job to rebuild it. so what do you think i need to check next. thanks.

If the rotation was backwards, you didn't time it correctly, i don't know if that will cause lower power, but it may be the cause of it not spinning the wheels. Get it right first, then go from there.
If it still won't spin, try swapping motors from side to side and it will tell you if the issue is the motor or pump.

started it up yesterday in the garage. it seems the right side will go in reverse. i can hold the left side and pull back on the right side and it will move but it wont go forward at all. i was careful to make sure the pins were put back in the same hole. im not sure what you mean by timing. im looking for that component manual but havent found one. funny thing is when i put it all together the first time it worked fine except it would go forward when i pulled back on the lever so figured i put the lines on wrong so i swapped them. thanks

Here's the directory that has the Bobcat hydraulic motor repair manual.

The timing is set by the valve plate that you would have noitced had two pins and two springs. There is a short dog bone shaped gear that links them together, there is a procedure of lining up holes, every time i do it, i second guess myself, is that the bigger one, or was it that one?

Each time i have done it, it was right though, so follow the manual, and you'll be right.
