I repowered my 743B with a V2203 from a refrigeration unit. Last week I broke a part that screws into the back of the fuel injection pump housing. Can't find that part in the parts manual. I think it has something to do with the shut-off lever. There is a spring-loaded post that might keep the engine from revving to high. Can anyone tell me a part number or what it is called please? Thanks.

From its location, it would appear to be some variation of the idle assembly apparatus. Since this was on a reefer, it's probably has a temperature or altitude compensation, which would be why it has the fitting on the end.
That would be my guess; you might ask at a truck repair shop or parts supplier, they would probably recognize it.
