Starting having some issues with this thing running funny then all of a sudden died and wouldnt re-start. Changed fuel filter and still wont run. I pulled the fuel tank and come to find out the suction line in the tank had become completely brittle and fallen off in the tank. My question is...... Can I use rubber fuel line from say O'Reilly's or is it a special material line thats in there that I should get from a Bobcat dealer? I saw somewhere its a 21" line. I tried the rubber line from O'reilly's but from what I can tell that rubber hose won't submurge itself in the diesel and stay at the bottom. So, if anyone could help me out that would be great! Thanks! Kyle

After looking on Bobcat's parts site it says that hose I am talking about is sold bulk per ft at the bobcat dealer. So..... I'm guessing that its the same thing I'm using. I guess I need to make sure its 21" like it specifies and no longer!

The bulk line sold by the dealer is pretty inexpensive and is resistant to degrading in the diesel fuel.
If you get it from a auto parts store make sure it rated to be submerged in diesel.
