That's the fun part.
The way i do it is to get the engine installed in the engine bay, the back of the engine just sits inside the engine bay or it sits on the ledge of the engine bay.
Get a helper with a bar to SLOWLY bump it forward while you lay on the pump and hold the yoke up. Make sure you keep your fingers out of the space between it and the spline on the pump or you rick maiming your fingers.
It's really not hard to do as long as you have a helper.
