722 Muffler Search Continues

Still haven't located a new or used muffler for my 722.

1. Any suggestions on specific salvage yards to contact?
2. Can a muffler for a 742 be modified to work? As far as I know they use the same 4 cylinder Ford Industrial engine.

I've checked with my local dealer and it doesn't sound like a 742 or 642 muffler will work on my 722. The 722 bolts directly to the engine whereas the others employ an exhaust manifold.

why dont you just take a picture of the muffler setup and run by a muffler shop
and see what they think about fixing you up with a muffler .
a 1/4 inch flange a couple new bolt holes and your setup .
