721 injectors

Hello all,
I have a 1966 clarke bobcat 721 with the 2cyl deutz air cooled diesel. It has been belching white smoke. Does anyone know how to remove the injectors?

This is the injector. It doesn't seem to turn more than about 5 or 10 degrees...

the only thing I can suggest is to soak in a penatrating oil at least overnight ,then rock the injector back and forth over and over again easing it out as you go squirt it with oil. if that fails remove the head and get more agressive. good luck
