721 Bobcat help needed with parts and engine

Hi all! New skid steer owner/operator. We bought 20 acres of undeveloped land on a lake and need to move dirt/rocks and logs to make roads and landing pad for our motorhome so I bought a 721 on craigslist to help do the job. i paid 4k for it. It works but it is in need of work so I may be asking multiple questions. And maybe rather than throw it all in one new thread I may make multiple ones so as to cut down on the read through. The biggest issue is that it has a deutz engine in that bleeds oil around the cylinder heads something fierce. Do the make a seal kit for it? The valve cover seals are new and do not leak but i see oil (pictures coming soon) coming out of spots just below them. I'll need to pressure wash it and see exactly where it's coming from. I was told that the deutz engines in these may not have parts available any more? I've tried searches and I haven't come up with anything regarding getting parts or even a parts breakdown. I do have the engine manual and a 721 service manual but they are not good with their pictures. Also it blows grey blue smoke when it's running? ?? Good? bad? And also I've heard that there may be a repower option for this cat with a gas motor from Harbor Freight? I understand that the flywheel and maybe the u joint don't match and would need to be machined to fit? ?? Has anyone done this? Any help would be appreciated!!

Also is there a way to shut this thing off without having to push the throttle all the way back (thats what is supposed to kill the engine) and push the levers like I'm going to move it...it then grinds like I'm trying to shift gears and can't find it! LOL!! but not so LOL It looks like there is a paddle on the engine that pushes a plunger or button but it does nothing and seems kind of sloppy. The plunger or button that the paddle pushes down does not move. Is that supposed to cut electrical power or fuel?

Parts for that old engine will be hard and expensive to get, look up my profile and send me an email of the oil leaks and hopefully i can give some advise.
The throttle on these engines is normal, throttle all the way back to shut off
The lever and pin you see on the motor is excessive fuel to get it to start easily when cold dur to not having glow plugs. Give it a bit of throttle and press the button, it should drop down and stay there till you crank and start the motor. It will blow some smoke but start really well.
The smoke could be engine wear, see how it starts and if it starts to use oil.
They are noisy motors and shake a lot, but they use very little fuel and just keep on running.
I'd avoid changing to a gasser/petrol motor if you can, the diesel has more torque and uses less fuel.
Good idea to check and at least grease the universal joints between motor and pump.
The noise, do you hear it all the time? how is the drive power? there is prbably a hidden suction filter on your machine, it makes it scream and loose power when warm.
