643 losing power to starter post when key is turned on.

I have a 643, and every time you turn the key on it kills the power to the battery post on the starter. found out i had and bad battery and starter solenoid, put those in still nothing. CHecked to see if i had power to the fueses and i do and the key switch. Could it be ust a bad positive cable?

Anything is possible, check all power connections, they can get the black death that works as an insulator.
