60XT external hyd connections

It seems that it i always a fight to get the flat face couplers to connect. . Even after shutting the engine off and moving the hyd rocker pedal back and forth several times it is still is a chore to get them hooked up. Is there an easy way to hook up the external hyd hoses?

Do they hoook back up easily after you have initially connected the attachment? Some fittings are just tight, some are tight due to pressure build up. I have a set that needs a hammer to lock on, even without any pressure behind them

It seems like they are always tight even when the preassure has been realesed. I do have a pair of pliers that I can relieve the preassure with, this helps, but it is still tough to get them hooked up. I haven't had to use a hammer yet but my patience is kinda short by the time they are hooked up Thanks for your reply, Jim

I have the same machine. what I do is when ever removing an attachment shut off the machine and then relieve the pressure using the foot peddle before removing hoses. seams to make it easier to reattach.
