Has anyone changed a kohler k583 to an onan p224, I recently purchased a 540 that has an onan in it. the problem i am having is a bad vibrration. it does not have the original connector between the motor and rear pump. someone installed gears and a double roller chain and that seems to be the cause. does anyone have a different method to make this work. i would appreciate your help.

If the shafts line up you could use a lovejoy coupler they have rubber in between the metal halves northern hydralics sells them in many diffrent sizes
