recently picked up a 2004, 4640 with 8000 hours for $3600. but it had a miss and knock. finally got to working on it, started it and cracked each injector line until i found number one cylinder had no change. swapped injectors around still number one cylinder, also seemed to be little pressure on the line. removed the injector pump. this deutz has one for each cylinder. i was going to take it to a shop but decided to unscrew the top fitting and found the copper washer was broke. took it to diesel specialist and he gave me a new one and put it back together for free! i did buy 3 new washers for under the injectors. cost $2.37. it took longer to get home than it did to have it running. runs great, i was willing to replace or rebuild the engine for that price, lucky day! does anybody know of a adapter that goes gehl to universal or else i could switch the whole thing over.is 1/8" plexiglass heavy enough for side windows or go 1/4"? like to make a door too.

You are very lucky with it being such a simple repair. If its an oil cooled Deuts, you should replace the timing belt too. They are meant to be done every 1000 hours.
Glad you got it up and running so easily.

Did you ever find a universal quick attach to put on it? I have the same issue on a 4625sx.
