259b3 Drive motor leaking

Have a 13 259B3 with 1400hrs starting to leak gear oil from the drive motor I was just curious if there was a vent on these drive motors, Reason I am asking is because when I remove the Fill/Drain plug I have pressure built up and it could be causing to blow out that seal... Another question I have is this seal doable or do I need some special tools to install it.. Any Info helps thanks

Need a big spanner socket, torque nut to 2900ft lbs Best to go to dealer If bearing is worn have to replace motor Bearing is part of hub and not replaceable

Man how long is your breaker bar to make that setting?

The leak is usually caused by the duo-cone seal. Best to remove the motor and take to your local dealer they have special tooling for this job.
