2021 CATERPILLAR 246D3 Display replacement

I have a 2021 246d and I need to replace the display or as Cat calls it the controller. Does anyone know if it needs to be programed or can I buy one from Ebay. I know some manufactures store all the info in the dash diplay unit and some like Bobcat in the body computer. I was concerned about my correct HRS as well once it's replaced. Any info would be great

I replaced one years ago and had to program it

If you purchase used/aftermarket or new you can alway go to the dealer to get it programed or you can schedule a service call with cat to do an onsite (cost more) but less wait time

Dealer should only charge a one hour minimum in shop rate
