Hi Guys,
I hope someone can offer me a fix for my 2002 Bobcat 753g (triangle head lights). When the machine is at idle all is good but soon after I give it some throttle, the oil pressure light comes on. If I continue at a higher throttle, the engine will shutdown in a protection mode but will fire right back up and then we are living in groundhog day all over again..... If I drop back to idle, the light goes off. I have replaced the sensor and no change. I put an oil gauge on it and have 60 psi at idle and 65+ at a higher RPM, so I know the oil pump is good. I suspect it is the controller. Here is the thing, everyone says the controller is in footwell on left side or behind a panel. I do NOT have anything in the footwell and NO panel. So it must be under the cab, right??? Follow the harnesses. Can anyone point me to a place to purchase a new controller? Does it need programming? Is this a Bobcat only part?
Thanks for any help in advance!

The control module under the left inner cab enclosure handles the aux hydraulics and handle switches. The other controller under cab handles the sensor inputs. I have to open my 753 tomorrow so I will take a pic, of mine.

SO you had a gauge on and verified that the pressure is always good. You replaced the Sensor. What codes come on? Like when you press the light button on the LH panel for 3 seconds when the issues accrues?

Some pics from my 753 for controller (computer)location and aux hyd module location. The one to the left of the driver seat is The aux hydr module electrical controls. There is an eBay vendor who states they can repair the computer/controller.

Bobcat still lists some of the 753 computers as available. #4 in pic, but you have to use your SN.

Do you have a G series 753? The placement of the controller on my G is different, its on the left side about where your elbow would be.

Thank you for the pics and help. The latest is because of me being a dummy and tried to save a few bucks, I purchased the oil pressure sensor from Amazon and swore it was good, but many months later and believing the computer was the issue, I purchased an OEM sensor and everything is working perfectly!!! Learn from my stupidity that the extra cost for the OEM part is sometimes worth it!!! Now I am chasing a short that causes the fuse for the alt/kits to blow and cuts out the alternator and then eventually kills the battery and you don't know until you shut down and try to restart the machine. A big PITA. If anyone knows a common area to look for a worn wire or something I surly would appreciate the heads up.
Thanks again to all for helping me out!!!!

Dont beat yourself up, everyone likes to save $$$. Plus buying on Amazon is super simple. It would be nice if the products we buy would actually do what they're supposed to instead of only lasting a short while.

Thank you for closure on this. As far as the alternator, chasing shorts has no easy fix. Wiring diagrams help. My last wire issue was caused by mice . Took a week, but I found it.
