2-speed trans not shifting?

I have a 2002 LS180 with a 2-speed transmission. The machine has 1040 hours on it. Just recently it got stuck in high gear and no matter what position the electric gear changing switch is in it will not change? Any suggestions on where to start trouble shooting this? Thanks

Under the neutralizer assy under the seat you will find the two levers attached to the hydro motor shafts. There should be a heavy spring connecting these two levers. It crosses diagonally the opening below the neutralizer assy.
