Bought this machine used in '2000. Although it only gets occaisional use, it is past due for a hydraulic oil and filter change per the owners manual. I picked up the filter and oil but for the life of me can't find a drain plug for the resivoir. Friends tell me spin the filter on and don't worry about changing the oil but I would prefer to to stick to the book. Any suggestions?

I don't think there is a drain on the tank. The temp sender is at about the lowest point or the suction hose. You may have to drop the belly pan to access but that is not a big deal. Some people pump what they can out the aux couplers into a pail but be careful not to run the pump out of oil. Could you just take sample out of the aux coupler and send it to the places that analyze engine oil? If there were any contaminants they should find them. You can't really change the oil anyway because of the amount still in the system. Lots of threads on these forums on this subject.
