After replacing seals and on one of the lift cylinders, I am getting an HP-3 warning- wire not connected (hyd pr). The only sensor wiring I disconnected and reconnected was a sensor near the hyd. filter.
After some testing im beginning to think that sensor is not the one giving the alarm. where is the charge pr sensor?

thank you. Thats the one I disconnected and reconnected.... right side of the filter housing. Sensor shows inf ohms so I thought that one might be a switch instead of an analog xmitter. Anyway I simulated the sensor with a 70 ohm resistor shoved in the plug and no change in alarm status. Maybe need to cycle the battery or possibly the female plug is somehow open.

I reckon its a bad sensor. It is reading inf ohms and should be 0-5 ohms at 0 psi. got the code to read something other than wire disconnected with a jumper in the plug- just a coincidental failure i guess

Hi, l also have a 763F with the HP3 fault code which has been there since I purchased it 8 months ago. Across the terminals of the sensor I have no ohm reading at all with engine running or not, so I suspect that this is the issue. According to the schematics both wires go back to the Boss module, the black wire being earth and tested as such, but when bridging out the two wires I get a HP4 fault which is a short, so my conclusion is that neither cable is broken and the sensor is at fault. My problem is that here in Australia that charge pressure sensor PN 6 661 518 from my Bobcat stealer is $376 and I can't find one online. Coincidentally latter models that using BICS system their sensors are readily available online for between $40 to $70. 🤦‍♂️

So Dave, did you figure out a work around? Is the machine usable?
Thanks for the info.

The boss system is a problem ridden system there used to be a kit to eliminate it and Chang it over to bics but not sure if it's available still
