1989 743 Alarm above operator

Hi all. I've been reading here at length but didn't see the answer so I just joined to ask. I bought this machine a couple years ago. Showing 700 hours on the meter. Originally a rental unit, bought by a homeowner who said it was rebuilt. Sat outside for years in his yard and paint shows it. I replaced the drive hoses because I hate working on a grimy machine and they were seeping fluid. Also rebuilt the lift cylinders. Runs great but the alarm has been going off right over my head this week and it has done this before. Don't know what it's warning of and that is my main question. What is this incredibly loud thing over my head trying to tell me? I just use it around the property and rarely run it more than an hour or two at a stretch. Changed air, oil, hydraulic filters and keep up on the fluids but never looked at the chain drive box or ujoints. (Only learned it had ujoints by reading here). An alarm is not standard equipment on that machine, can you get a picture of inside the cab showing these parts and the dash?

I emailed pics direct to you. It looks factory installed to me. I'm considering the possibility it has always been under power and the piezo just freed up and started emitting sound because it was frozen from sitting, so I'm not sure if it is coming on sometimes or just working sometimes. Maybe the rental company units had something to prevent untrained renters from doing damage?

I don't believe the buzzer is OEM, the rest of the dash is though.
I replied to the email, hopefully it will help work out what it was installed for.

Yeah, I have an '89 743 and there is no alarm up there; also no extra wires where one might have been removed, either dangling or behind the instrument panel.
