1840 Quick Attach

Sorry, but I asked this question once before and never got a definite answer. Will the quick attach front end from a Case 1845C fit on a Case 1840. If not, what is different? Thanks in advance.

I think the arms are wider apart on the 1845C. I do know the quick tach units themselves are different, the 1840 having the universal narrow lock pin spacing and the 1845C having the universal wide lock pin spacing.
