1835b 188D RPM check?

How do you check engine rpm's on a 188D? Or rather where can I find the tachometer that they show in the service manual or one that will work?

Not all will have a tacho, if you really want to check it, get a laser tacho from Ebay and check it off the crank.

That's the one. It uses relective tape to reflect the laser beam, so it needs a non reflective back surface that you stick reflective tape tabs on to function, the instructions will tell you about it.

I have only used it a hand full of times, but they are so cheap.
