Blew a line today in a bad spot, didn't shut down right away as I was half in a hole and the boom was up. I tried driving back and nothing good happened, just bad noises shakes and lots of fluid gone. I pulled the line and going to get it made tomorrow to fix which is no big deal, what's the likely hood I messed up the pumps, it's not out but real low on fluid. And if I did how can tow or drag it tow it? Is there a valve to open that will free the wheels so I can at least get it out of the woods to work on. Whats the cost of fixing pumps if it's a worst case? Thanks in advance, I'll update if I get it going before replies

Cavitation is never good for pumps. Try to change the hose, refill the hydraulic reservoir and get it to a place to work on it. Change hydraulic filter and cut the old one to check for any metal. Listen for any strange noises/vibration etc. Wishing you the best luck.

I've been looking up parts to see exactly which line it is, from what I can gather facing the front of machine it's the left side, line from the hydraulic pump to the hydrostatic motor that runs under the motor back to the top of the hydrostatic. Normally I'd just shut down but it was such a bad spot deep in the woods behind my house I had to at least get it level I knew I wasn't getting out but I don't think I can get a trailer to it and another machine I have access too won't move it. I'm hoping I didn't just blow 5k in parts. I'm going to bring to the dealer when I get it out since I'm not great at diagnostics but I can replace parts. If I blew the motors I'm probably upgrading to a new machine. Strange noises from the pumps on this machine must be pretty obvious it's got the loudest hydraulic noise of any machine I've run

Replace the line and refill the hydraulic reservoir. Move it to where you can work on it. Then change and cut the filter to check for any metal. Talk to some of your friends to see if anyone knows a tech that will work on one on the side and get him to help you.

I fixed the line and refilled the resivior, drove it out and onto the trailer. It seems to be fine but a little louder maybe but it's hard to tell because I always wear ear protection when in it plus I didn't put all the panels back on. I'm going to take it to the dealer tomorrow and have them do a oil change in both engine and hydro aND look it over. I'd do it myself but I don't have ideal place for self service and no good way to get rid of the used oil. I'll need to get the right hose too I could only get one that fits not the same size
