Hi, I am new to form. I have a bobcat S175 maybe a 2002 model #517625265. I use it around the farm. I used it the day before with no problems, next day starts right up but won't unlock. When it starts it beeps several time and seat bar light flashes. Codes are 11-05, 08-22, 07-21, 12-23. I have replaced the sensors for hydraulic fluid and engine temp and no change. It is not getting hot. I have read that the right thumb controller can be an issue. I noticed when running and I push the right thumb controller the control panel beeps a few times. I also replaced the seat bar sensor with no change. It starts right up but does not get all lights on left panel to unlock controls. Foot pedals and joysticks are locked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to say Seat bar safety switch but if you did that then that's not it. How about a break locking up? All the other functions work? Is there new fuses in place? The safety switches are done you said. Is there a seat switch? Not that familar with this unit but wanted to toss some things out there. My guess is the machine will self lock when shut down so it is not releasing now and that maybe where you want to look more. Others will jump in so hang in there.

Also I read up on this some. Can you rock the machine forward and backward at all. Use the bucket if need be to push and pull it may be stuck as some said in other posts.

This is what I found in another post on this site. If the skidsteer moves even slightly after application of parking break the locking dog will have pressure on it. This is almost guaranteed if parking on any slope. The locking dog will not release until the pressure is removed. Gently creep the machine forward, or back to release pressure on locking dog and it will retract.
There is some kind of relay that could go bad. Try swaping that out with a similar relay like for the head lights. Keep us posted on what is found. It will help others later.

On my S175, you have no control (movement, lift or tilt) until all lights are lit on the upper left panel. So, although the brake dog could be stuck-this happens frequently on my machine-you are unable to jog the machine to release it until the computer activates the controls. A stuck brake dog will not prevent control activation, but will stall the machine if you try to move without releasing it first. Unusually, all it takes is a sight movement forward or backwards.

Sorry, but my comments don't help the OP's problem. Since this is a month old, they may have been resolved by now. OP, let us know how things turned out.

Update: I have replaced the main control board ($1500) and had it programed. still no fix. Bobcat now drives but Tilt and lift still not working. Also replaced center spool on valve body and valve still no change. I am now showing code 47-21 ,12-22 and 8-22. I am at a loss. About to give up and take to bobcat. When looking at the left side control panel Traction light is on and I am able to move unit by pushing traction lock override. Any Ideals ???

47-21 8 Volt Sensor Supply Out Of Range High: Did you had a NEW controller put in? Seems like that either the controller is damaged. But it seems you did not had that code before the controller swap.
12-22 Auxiliary PWM Switch Out Of Range Low: That's your Joystick/Steering Grip on your RH side--the Thumb Switch--replace Grip/Joystick Handle
08-22 Engine Coolant Temp Out Of Range Low: Check your wire to the coolant sensor (near Thermostat Housing) if wire seems ok, replace Sensor.

Yes, also added a right-hand controller. A little history, this all started about a few months ago. I would start the bobcat and it took a few minutes for the three lights to go green so I could activate the operate button. Over a few months it took longer and longer and one day lights (seat, tilt and lift ,traction) would not light up. So began problem.

Did you check the seat bar sensor?

At this point I will try anything. If there is a problem with seat bar, would it have a code or the light flash ?

We are guessing. Went to Bobcat and bought the controller and came home and installed it. The unit would drive now but still would not tilt or lift. Code now was controller not programed. Called Bobcat and asked them if the controller need to be programed? they stated yes. I said you could have told me that. They stated I had to bring machine to them to program. I loaded on trailer and took it. They brought a laptop out to unit while on trailer and stated it would only take a few minutes. The completed I started it up and no change. I asked the tech what he thought, and he suggested it was problem the tilt lift spool. Bought that and replaced no change.

This is a Joystick machine? If so, that right stick might be the issue. FYI, you can't get them from Bobcat. Found a company called Issocell that rebuilds them. Not cheap, but better than the $5k dollar price Bobcat gave me to do a retrofit.
