Don't you think tele booms are kinda expensive for what they do? I've never used one.

    CAT 242B oil burner

Has anyone else had trouble with their CAT burning engine oil? It acts like it isn't even broke in yet although it has a few hundred hours on it. Did the rings fail to seat? Dealer looked at it but problem is the same. I think they might have replaced the turbo.

    Forkster

Yikes. Looks like it could be dangerous in the wrong hands. At least it has outrigger/wheels. http://www.sheyennemfg.com/index.php?page=tele-fork

    Tree Spade variations

If I wanted a tree spade that gave good all-around performance, what would it be? There are too many variations of spades out there to make sense of. What is the major reason for using 4 or 3 spades? Does the spade angle really matter? Could I move all types of trees equally well? Thanks

    Toro Dingo mounting plate

Does anybody know if the mounting plate on a Toro Dingo is similar to the MT50? What about that Ditchwitch SK350?

    Tunnel under sidewalks

Would one of these things work for going under sidewalks? They make them for big skidsteers too. http://www.mightymole.com/mini_skid_steer.htm

    wire harness jumper wires

This might be a good question for JustAwrench. Let's say I have a '05 S205 and I install the 14 pin attachment control harness only (no 7-pin). Then let's say I want to use a Brand X dozer blade that has a selenoid operated diverter valve. To tilt I just use the right joystick paddle switch...

    7-pin ACD: Curse or Godsend????????

The 14 pin is the regular 12v and 7 pin is the low voltage digital signal.

    7-pin ACD: Curse or Godsend????????

A jumper cable won't work because the 7-pin signal is digital. You have to have an ACD "blackbox" to interpret the signal and power the attachment selenoids. You can get an adapter kit from Bobcat for around $300 or so.

    Tree Slasher

Wow, at 1940 pounds, that would be a hog to push around! And how do they hot dip something so large???? I think if you are going to be cutting grass and small trees you would be better off with a mower like the ones built by Bobcat, Brush Wolf, or Quick-Attach. They are a little lighter on the...

    40 gpm Hi-Flow machines

Shane, does Bobcat still use gearpumps for the aux hyd? I didn't think slowing the RPM's down would work very good for limiting GPM, but I guess I haven't tried it in a work situation. Can it still reach max working pressure? One thing about higher GPM, it's not as hard on the attachment hyd...

    Oil Contamination Worries

I'm not an oil expert, but all of this talk of oil "contamination" sounds like pure poppycock to me. My opinion: hyd oil is hyd oil. The only difference could be in the additives. Anti-foam and Anti-corrosion would be two that come to mind. I would be more worried about getting foreign material...

    Dumping Hopper

I like your idea here Coyote. Maybe you could find some caster wheels off an old swather? :-) $4700 seems steep for a dumping hopper.
