Well, I figured out the surging problem. It had been just fine the first 10 hrs I had it. The left control shock had backed out and was just hanging. Also the hyd filter was loose enough that it was leaking. Fixed both and no surging. nice and smooth again. I have been running Deere and Case and...

Figured it out. Opened up the cab and found the hyd filter loose and the left conyrol shock was bad. $40 later and digging in the dirt again.

It seems to be a hydrostat problem. Its not a track ratcheting problem.

That is quite possible. Both motors have been replaced with the newer style. I bought this particular machine because it has all of the service records. I will probably take it in tomorrow morning to see what they say. Any idea what would cause a machine to hop? It's fine when moving brush, but...

The gear is on the right way

One would think they would notice. But took me quite a few looks to realize what was different. But I'm not the mechanic. The drive gears have about 300 hours on them The right obviously has weird wead patterns. I've only had it for about 15 hrs.

The idlers are where they are supposed to be. But the right drive gear is about 1 inch further to the outside on the right than the left.

I just bought a used t200 from a dealer. But when I got it home and started using is some something seemed a little wrong. the right track isn't wearing on the inside like the left.
