congrats Tazza. thanks for the reaffirmation. I power wash all my equipment but have not ever cleaned out under the bottom pan. When I tipped the cab to change a Hyd filter, I noticed that underneath was pretty gunned up. Was not sure where the crud would drain to from underneath.
This should generate a few comments like "why would you" but I will ask anyway. While replacing the starter on my 863F this week, I was noticing the amount of crud and dirt in the engine compartment. Mostly under the engine. I tipped the cab and saw that under the unit is loaded with dirt old...
Great idea on the plumb bob approach wether on setting fence posts or eyeballing Poles. They used them to build the Pyramids didn't they? They have held up pretty well.
I have a 863F Bobcat. It does not have self leveling which is not an issue for me when using the bucket. When using the bale spear and moving 4x6 round bales from 3 rows up, it is hard seeing when the bale spear is level when moving bales. Would make it safe and easier getting into the bales if...
Thats as pretty cool idea. I might give that a shot. I was also thinking of tacking on a couple of pieces of metal so that when they come together it is roughly level. Thanks for the neat idea.
I don't know little_fellow. The last time I changed the filter, I drained the entire Hdy tank and put a pan under the filter. I still had a mess. Not much room under the filter to do a fast swap. Plus my fat hands don't help either.
Here in Michigan, I don't have rats but field mice galore when I park in the barn. They come up through a hole under the seat when you start up and if you're sitting in the cab, you get 4 or 5 of them little buggers running around looking for a way out.
Thank you SkidRoe. Only time I would like it is when I have a round bale on my bale spear. When I am triple stacking the bale, you're blind as to your position. Going in straight would be handy and make getting the bale off easier. As I have never had it I do fine without it but was curious if...
I am the proud and happy owner of a bobcat 863 F series turbo. I have a simple question and looking for any tips out there. When I change the hyd filter, I have tried draining the fluid tank and swap out the filter. I have tried to just change out the filter quickly. both methods results in...
I hope this is not a stupid question but I have been wondering so will ask anyway., I have an 863 F series Turbo. Love the machine. The bucket does not have a self level setting like on a case backhoe. Was that something that was ever offered on a 863? I would like to have an indicator on the...
