Dealer took off the solenoid that operates the lift and tilt ,put it back on and suddenly everything works ,no parts fitted but a costly and annoying breakdown with the exact reason still not known!

Yeah it has a door and have tried disconnecting the switch but to no avail it could be some damp wiring but I guess that could be pretty elusive to fix? Tom

Thanks for all the info ,it was a hard decision as both machines are pretty good it seems .I decided in the end to stay with Bobcat because the dealer service is better, although further away it's the only thing they sell so are generally pretty knowledgeable and parts are never a problem. NH...
