Nah, Bobcat made the wheel; I'm just trying fix it and make it work.
So I bought two gallons of logic, three yards of reason; I didn't guess much and without any experience, I replaced a fuse.
I'm still a know nothing skidder operator without a simple switch.
Thanx to all who helped.;)
The oil in the pan of the engine is separate from the oil in the hydraulic system, even though it's the same kind of oil.
The auger runs off the auxiliary hydraulic system. (those pesky flat face couplers up front)
I have a large auger job half finished. The auger head seal started to leak fairly profusely. I put a 12 oz. bottle of Rear Main Seal stop leak in.
Ran it 30 seconds and it quit leaking. Worked five more hours with no leak.
According to the label, part of the stop leak's composition is rubber...
I would like a simple on-off switch to operate the aux-hyds and bypass the more complicated than God's Universe Bobcat electrical system.
Can any body help?
Please.
Oh, I have the Boss system. (no round gauges)
All four leak. I will replace when I can figure out how to remove the ends from the cylinders. The connections in the rear are out in the open. Very little room in the front for wrenches. Is it necessary to remove the cylinders from the machine or are there special Bobcat tools for facilitation? TIA
