Planning to switch from Bobcat T86 to JD 335-P.

Planning to switch from Bobcat T86 to JD 335-P. Anyone have experience with JD's 335-P CTL? Any problems with 335-P? Any issues going from Bobcat to John Deere? Thanks in advance.

    Need help with AC asap

Old post, but for what is worth Is there any chance the dryer or filter canister is in backwards? Hose lines reversed? Should be an arrow on canister showing direction of freon flow. Don't trust someone put canister in correctly. Check direction of freon flow. Either by tracing flow...

How does ASVi Rt-135F or Vt-100F compare to Bobcat T86 with forestry

Any owners of ASVi RT-135 forestry or VT-100 forestry who have comparison experience to a Bobcat T86 with forestry package? Would appreciate comparative info. For what is worth, I have a 2024 Bobcat T86, which I am very displeased with. Looking to switch. Thanks in advance.

    Dusty and Dirt

I agree. Engine air intake is located next to protective grill on top of engine compartment. Where some of dust and dirt entering chassis is blown by engine cooling fan upward through radiator and out protective grill. Engine air intake needs to be further away (isolated) from protective grill.

    Dusty and Dirt

Update to my post above (#5): T86's engine fan is running correct direction. Thus, fan is not connected up backwards or fan blades flipped. My confusion on fan comes from Bobcat having reversed air flow direction with newer models (T86) vs. older models (T870). Still not sure what went...

    Dusty and Dirt

Follow-up: Found what I believe is root cause of all dust and dirt in chassis, cab, engine air-filter, cab internal & external air filters. T86 engine cooling fan is running opposite direction from normal. Air is being pulled through louvers of rear door, and exhausted out perforated grill...

    Dusty and Dirt

Are any other Bobcat R-series owners having issues with dust and dirt as follows: 1) Under cab, dust and dirt covering most horizontal flat surfaces. Dust and dirt building up to 1-1/2" deep on floor pan; after only a few days of being cleaned and partial day usage. 2) Primary engine air filter...

Tip for greasing T86's recessed Zerk of rear lift arms.

Reaching recessed grease Zerk, requires going through hole in heavy metal support panel. Once a grease connector is on grease Zerk, it can be a major struggle to pop it loose. Solution is: 1) Lock-n-Lube grease connector (or similar) which has lever to open connectors jaws which grab Zerk. 2)...

    How's life?

Doing fine in general. Not so good with new Bobcat T86.

2023 T86 getting plugged filter error codes only 70 hours on machine

I believe sensor is measuring air pressure difference. Higher difference between surrounding air vs. intake air; indicates a restriction. Whether restriction is at air intake, collapsed air intake duct, or dirty air filterl sensor doesn't know.

2023 T86 getting plugged filter error codes only 70 hours on machine

Despite cleaning engine air filter daily, sometimes twice, I got trouble code of engine intake air flow problem. Can't remember actual code. Couldn't believe it was engine air filter. Cleaned engine air intake, since it had some leaves restricting air flow. Didn't help. Back to shop...

Anyway to stop Bobcat T86 machine with 5-link torsion suspension from rocking?

Is there way to adjust Bobcat T86 machines 5-link torsion suspension to lessen or stop it from rocking? A recent rocking incident with T86 nearly put machine on it's front. Luckily I had on seat belt; being I was thrown forward and backward numerous times. The T86 needs shock absorbers or...
