control valve rebuild, pressure relief valve problem?

So, after getting the machine back together and running, out has exhibited a problem that did not exist before the I swapped the valve for a rebuilt one. At several points after getting it running and working again, it has had very jumpy, jerky, loud lift and bucket hydraulics. At first I...

Lift arm float position not working

3 possibilities I can think of: It hasn't been used for a long time and the springs/ balls that hold it in the detent are rusted or stuck. Or, someone was working on it before you got it and lost the springs and balls. If you remove the cover without being ready for everything to fly out, those...

control valve rebuild, pressure relief valve problem?

Just for the record, to answer my own question, both the dealer service department, and Bud from Buddy's service in ND confirmed that the "dent" on the pressure relief valve is the way it comes from the factory. I've got it all back together and working well

    773 lift and tilt problem

Checked for power at the BICS solenoid, so that's not it. Bled some air from the lift cylinders, but they still wouldn't go up. Had a thought, and what do you know? It is possible to install the BICS solenoid upside down, and it will make a clicking sound, but not do anything. I turned it over...

    773 lift and tilt problem

I've just rebuilt a used control valve and installed on my 773, and replaced a bunch of hoses. While it was apart I serviced everything I could find and it was no small list. Both case drain filters, 7 hoses, washed out the reservoir, new bushings on the steering levers and lift/ tilt linkage...

control valve rebuild, pressure relief valve problem?

The main control valve on my 773 finally started puking after 10 years of ownership, I knew the valve was going to be very difficult (or impossible) to overhaul as it had lots of rust, so I bought a used valve and gave it a cleaning and seal kit while it was on the bench. All in all, not a bad...

    Which Bobcat do i buy?

I have a 773, and while it was down being repaired I had to rent a new S650. It was really nice to use, but the 773 is the perfect size for close quarters work, and it is very powerful for the size. My next machine will be a lower hour 773, it's just a nice machine and reasonably easy to work on

    Leaking 863 F turbo

I had the strap that holds my hydraulic tank rub a small hole through a few years ago. The rubber pad kept the oil in most of the time but not always, maybe check that. Or, on my machine the tilt and lift spools started to leak on the back of the control valve. I wasn't getting any noticeable...

    hydraulics problem

mmsllc, I am chasing my tail fixing a long neglected auxiliary hydraulic system, if you still have some parts machines would you please contact me? Specifically it is a 773F, and the button/ two light module is bad. Possibly the PWM module also, but one thing at a time right? I looked to see if...
