bobcat 753. the gear case is filling up with hydraulic oil and pushing out the breather. probably coming from at least one of the wheel motors. question: does anyone know if it would be from the mount seal or the motor seal?

battery is not drained overnight. still fully charged and holds with a load test. so after starting it doesn't have to re-charge or bring it up. seems like it needs that extra jolt to break thru something. yes, weird.

i have 2 LS170. one is fine and that's why i know the other could have an issue. the drive controls are very jumpy, jerky. each time you start off it wants to buck jump unless it's at very low rpm. hoping there's some kind of adjustment, etc.

i just purchased a 753G with 1980 hours. drove onto the trailer fine but now it acts and feels like a chain trying to climb a sprocket. i will appreciate any advice on what to look for or look at first. my old school brain tells me a chain is too loose, a tooth off, etc. but i really don't know...

very possibly found the problem. the big drive belt was extremely loose. tightened per the service manual and it's not bogging down. would not have thought a loose belt would have resulted in that type of issue. fixing a few other items now and then back together totally. i'll give a final...

you are absolutely correct. it is right above the plug. i contacted the dealer first then bobcat. both said it was not on the machine anywhere but the plate. this site is invaluable because of the people on it.

also, i find, when i go into a pile of dirt/gravel/etc and as it begins to stall, the hand controls/levers shutter and shack. i let off trying to push forward and it (shutter) stops. it lifts and dump a load just fine.
