    Shop airlines

The air brake line is OEM on the Rotary 12k four-post. The copper water line is rated @ 250 PSI, and I haven't had a failure in 11 years of use. PVC and CPCV I personally would stay away from. Some of the cleaners we use will break down plastic.

    Shop airlines

My shop hoists use 3/8 truck airbrake line with pushconnect fittings. That would work for shorter runs. I have copper in the shop, but thieves will strip you building clean around here. Water pipes and all. I've heard of pvc and cpvc in under 100 psi applications. My guys would tear it up.

    Trailer?

I sort of had the opposite problem, I bought an E-Z loader trailer 12,000 gvw. It works great as a dump trailer as long as someone is in the cab and on the truck brakes. As the bed reaches full height the weight shift will lift the rear of your truck enough to cause it to begin sliding even on...

    Trailer blueprints

It would probably work just as well to measure and duplicate a top of the line factory built trailer. The ramps and hinges seem to be the hardest to fabricate. Resist the urge to use house trailer axles. Make the tongue adjustable at the trailer side. In my state (maybe nationwide) you must have...

    RC50 loading big fire video

Actually where I'm from is not even forested, but my burn permit would have required me to pay for a volunteer fire dept. truck to sit onsite for the burn and bare-earth at least 50 ft all the way around. I've personally seen the wind come up quick on a fire like that and make it really take...

    RC50 loading big fire video

It's a wonder we haven't set fire to all our forests! These numbskulls could have at least clearcut alittle around the fire. I wonder how they would have put out the fire if it got away from them.

    873 still won't start

Napa's tester uses premade harnesses to energize the regulator. They look in a book, pull the correct adapter, clamp it in the machine and test it- so easy a cavemen can do it. Except the partsmen nowdays are not even shade tree mechanics in a lot of cases. That harness that they needed was...

    Battery for 1995 873 deutz

If the amp gauge always shows that it is charging it is possible that you have a drain running down the battery. You can take a test light, remove the negative cable from the battery, and bridge the cable to the battery with the light. If the filament glows it indicates current flow, then it is...

    Weird Boiling Gas Problem.....

The actual boiling point of fuel is called RVP and is juggled up and down seasonally. It is hard to pinpoint exactly and will as stated vary with altitude. Flashpoint varies with altitude and humidity. Actually the temps of your other fluids are way more important due to say head cracking if the...

    S175 vs. S185

I have an S185 but I really did not test out an S175. I would highly recommend air conditioning because you can put in much much more seat time without fatigue and dust. I probably get an extra 4 hours in on a very hot day. I figured the turbo would compensate for the drag of the a/c. If you use...

    Weird Boiling Gas Problem.....

Actually fuel is comprised of many volatile components, some of which start to boil at as little as 160 degrees f. I do not believe that there is an actual boiling point that you can reference. As they boil off they change the makeup of the fuel and how it performs. I would recommend using a...

    S250 Electrical problem

You own it right? There's is no security setup? My S185 can even be set up to disable using gps when removed from it's location. Even if it has a key instead of a keypad I know guys that have hidden a disconnect since all keys are identical.

    Seafoam......

My auto parts supplier has been pushing us to sell this for years. They promote that it can either be run in the fuel, or added to the engine oil. When I last checked the ingredience the first listed was mineral spirits. Now we use mineral spirits for our parts washers and all my training has...

    Takeuchi good or bad

Well since no one else has commented heres my two cents. This forum used to be named the B**cat Forum so it should come as no surprise that most of us have them. I think you will find that some of us have the other brands as well. The best brand is the one that has the best support in your area...

    Mirrors

Just a couple of days ago I received an E-mail from skid steer solutions the showed a pretty slick back up camera for a couple of hundred dollars. If it worked like the one on my car it would have advantages over mirrors. The camera lense does need to be kept clean though. I have not seen a...
