    I also agree that you have to low of compression on that cylinder. I wouldn't expect to see anything less than about 145. Either valves or you have rings bad on that cylinder. Good luck.

    Tazza thanks, I'll look at that hose. It would be great if that's all that's causing my leak(s). Fugaware, for the ford motor ask for a ford fiesta or pinto ignition parts. They are pretty interchangeable.

    I bought a 742b a couple of years ago for $1500. Sounds good right? Well....machine turned over but wouldn't start and it was pouring gas out of the non-existent intake. No gauges except a mechanical oil pressure gauge on the motor itself. No dash either. Seemed like a pour choice to purchase...

    Where to get parts for 742 ford gas motor

    The ford motor is basically a pinto motor. Many parts can be got from your local auto parts store. I have used a 72 pinto for reference.
