I have it off, can get that threaded collar off no problem. What else holds the ram from coming out? It hits a hard stop. (This is my first attempt and putting a seal in a hyd. cylinder.)
Picked up an L779 3-4 weeks ago. It is a 6 cyl Ford Gas engine. Runs great. Wish it was a bit easier to access the engine but I guess it runs great so I wont complain. Anything I need to be sure to watch for? Hyd drive seems strong though they both groan like my wife going to a Tractor show in...
My 1845c has developed a fuel drip at the pump. It is on the bottom inside toward front of machine on pump and drips onto the engine side case. Cannot see other than a drip every 5-8 seconds. I shut it off and feel under it and it seems to be by a soleniod with a wire coming out. (fuel shut off...
Sorry if these are dumb questions but I am white collar guy trapped in a blue collar need to have equipment. Thus, I have no one I work with that I can bounce this stuff off, etc. So here goes. 1. I bought a loader on a sale last week. It is a 95 1845. The loader arms say 1845, no “C”. The bill...
I assuem the overall loader bucket lift cylinders would use this same return line and it works perfect. i jsut odered a service manual for it this morning. Once I get that I will see if I can try adjusting something on the bucket tilt down related to the return flow. It will nearly killt he...
Of all things my bucket tilt DOWN in the most load on my machine including drive motors. I assume the valves need to be able to “vent” the opposite side of the cylinders from the side that is getting fluid pushed into them? Any I on the right track? (Never had to adjust anything like this...
Also, I hound Hydra Mac did not make this for IK. I also found that Massey rebranded this unti as the Model 711 & 711B. Here is a link to a manual to see a pic of one. All that looks diff. is the cage to me. http://www.manuals.us/browseproducts/Massey-Ferguson-711-Skid-Steer-Loader-Service.HTML...
I have an old IH 3300B. These machins have 3 separate pumps. 1 for each side drive wheels and a 3rd for the bucket lift & tilt. Once is a while the hydraulics for all 3 functions will be dead and need to warm up and be coaxed into working. It happens in an all or none fashion. I checked the Hyd...
I fixed moy power issue. Now have way more than needed. See my fix in this thread I started. http://www.skidsteerforum.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=54&frmView=ShowPost&PostID=39496
I found my power issue. The fuel shut off flipper was only 1/2 opened byt he solenoid. Moved it to the inside hole on the flipper so it opens all the way and I have at least 5 times the power.
I had to turn the high side throttle stop in about 3/4 inch to keep the thing from over reving. PM me...
