    42" Grapple Bucket

Very nice work man, I like how you set up the back plate to fit up the tines perfectly. You ought to put a piece of 1/4 plate between those new cross members you added, to completely protect the crome shaft of the cylinder. It's only a matter of time before something comes through and nicks it...

    Cut Teeth into bucket edge

You can do it guy, I've done it for my 15” backhoe bucket on my 709. I haven't seen any problems and I put all the hoe's breakout forces on individual teeth ocasionally. That said, the bobcat bolt on teeth can't be beat for a bucket.

want to build a stump bucket /spade

Put some over the tire tracks on that machine if you reallly want to utilize that attachment. The extra push they provide will really help you sink that spade into the soil. Wiggle a little with the breakout cylinder and push it in with little to no slippage. They are handy attachments, enjoy.

    Any Arborists here?

That sounds like some handy equipment. I prefer to climb all my trees, already have a lot of money invested in gear, gotta use it.

    Grapples

I would go with the grapple bucket. I built mine custom and it is sweet. If you have to buy factory I would get the demo-dozer. My grapple bucket gets more use by far than any of my attachments. I also do a lot of tree work and logging with it. Break trails, move brush and debris big and...

    Fabricating a crane hoist

Nice job on that contraption! Looks like it will be fun to use. I am sure you will find all kinds of stuff to move with that.

    Starting to manufacture skidsteer attachments

Ron, I doubt the 1” thick bucket will fly. 2 reasons I can see that nobody makes them would be price and weight. I really like the hydraulic sliding fork idea, probably quite marketable.

    best attachment

My custom grapple bucket. I do most of my woods, firewood and tree work with it. Pretty much everything except spread gravel or dig compact soil. Then I use the smooth bucket or the tooth bucket. Out of all my attachments, it stays on the machine the most.

Specs for skidsteer quick attach anywhere?

Two ways to do it depending on how much fab equipment you have. You can do all the forming which is shown in the link or you can use flat stock and weld all the seams. Oh yeah the third way, a hybrid of bending and welding. The second way is by far easier with less figuring and equipment...

    Mig Welding

Fishfiles, for stainless use stailess wire and an argon-helium-co2 mix for your shielding gas. This will give you a good, clean stailess weld.

    Mig Welding

Congrats on the Lincoln! You can't go wrong with any of their products, they are the industry leader in my opinion. Anyway, if you are going to weld with flux core then you will want reverse polarity, ground positive and gun negative. For the shielded aluminum you want standard polarity...
