Thanks for the replies. that one way leveling sounds very troublesome. Ended up not getting this one for an assortment of other reasons too. Engine sounded and acted good and strong, hours were only around 2400. But.... there were quite a few oil leaks in the hydraulic lines. Thanks

I agree with David 526, check with your CaseIH dealer. One of the CaseIH oils has the HTO additive already in it.

A big thanks to River Fluid Power for finding a pump and coupler spline to repair the old one. It's all back together and back to doing what it does best.

part is D126367, the splines on the pump drive shaft are shot too. D126505

that appears to be the one for the pump that drives the wheels, not the one for pump that runs the loader

Well, I got it apart and have learned the coupler is no longer made for the 1835C's

Hi Today my 1835c started making an non-normal sound and the loader quit working, won't go up or down and does not tilt up, I think gravity is what tipped it down. The sound is hard to describe, not a high pitched squeal, more like a lower pitch whine. No warning lights on or buzzers went...

Finally got schedules to match up with the neighbor boy and have it repaired. Interestingly the wire had the insulation missing and some fraying in a couple spots in roughly a foot from the sensor. Replaced the sensor and the last foot of wire. Put new woven insulation sleeve on that...

I have not gotten it out yet. I do want to get it out to take to the NAPA store in town to make sure I can get the right one to put back in. Splicing wire a little further back does make sense. The neighbor kid with his smaller diameter arms should be able to get in there and work on it...
