OK DAG nabit..i tried to use my 4-1 bucket about an hour ago and cant get it to connect up. Ive toggled the aux hydro's . my boom and bucket are all the way down , Ive used a screw driver to let pressure off the machine and Ive taken the male coupler/fitting loose on the bucket and let some...

thanks guys that did seem to make it easier.. i bought a back hoe attachment for it a couple days ago went yesterday and got new fittings . i used it some yesterday just to see how it worked it will take some getting use to.. it seems like it puts allot of pressure on my machine . it should work...

hey everyone , i switched out the case couplers on my case 1840 to match all the new attachments flat face couplers and wouldnt you know two of the 3 attachments ive bought so far ive had to by new couplers to match the flat face couplers i have now..lol my question is this . is there a easier...

i got mine from a company called cauliflower in Annapolis Maryland they were around $120.00 for the set. i changed the couplers on the machine so it works with all the standard flat face couplers/fittings on the newer attachments. you should be able to get them at any local to you hydraulic shop.

I had a piece welded between the two existing points to match a standard quick attach..it came out very nice , now I'm going to have a piece of metal replaced/added on the bottom next week and it will be finished. i have a feeling it is going to spend allot of time on the front of my machine..

anyone know of or use a durable paint for attachments..

its a non turbo i thought it smoked more than it should but i think its typical after seeing others run.. i really like this machine its very easy to operate and does everything i need . i do need to get a toothed bucket to help get into stuff a bit easier..

my owners manual had instructions on moving the rops forward so i did and changed the muffler fairly easy, but while i was in there i noticed some leaking and loose bolts on the right side drive , ill take the side cover off tomorrow and see if i can tighten the bolts and figure out why they...

i dont have a service manual and was wondering if some one can tell me if theres a easy way to remove the muffler.. im looking at it and it appears you need to remove the radiator to get it out. any advice would be appreciated..

changed air filters still putting out black exhaust , getting ready to put a new muffler on it today , probably a new fuel filter and hydro filter tomorrow.

yep it puts out allot of black exhaust.

im not leaking any fuel , i guess i need to get out my manual and try and locate the injector return lines , the only things ive done to this machine is change the oil and filter and mount new tires , switched out the couplers to the new style for attachments , ill read up on it tonight and see...
