Do you guys run your skidloader full throttle?

I have been running my S185 at 1900rpm (will do 3000). I have 20 hours up so far. My local sales rep did a PR call on me today and I asked him the question. He said, run it according to your job. IF I am using pallet forks etc, I run about 1300rpm, using the Auger, about 16-1800, 4 in 1 bucket...

    Anyone using Dozer Blade Attachment??

My Dozer Blade arrived today.......this thing is seriously heavy duty :-) I am impressed! I have yet to fit the control kit and set the control switching up, in my deluxe panel menu. Hope to get it fired up over Easter. Stay tuned!!

    Anyone using Dozer Blade Attachment??

No, its the 6 way 80 " Dozer blade, not Grader blade. There is no wheel on it etc. This one http://www.bobcat.com/attachments/dozer_blade

    Anyone using Dozer Blade Attachment??

Anyone using the Dozer Blade? I have ordered it for my S185, not here yet, however the 14 pin/7pin attachment controller kit came today. Have to fit it up DIY. The blade uses the 7 pin socket for control. I am hoping the blade is rugged enough for grading existing vehicle tracks on my farm, alss...

    Running bad again.

Generic info.....there could be a bad ign coil that starts to fail, when hot. Fire up the machine when cold, then while running, hit the coil with a Hair Dryer or Heat Gun, to "induce" heat to the coil. IF the machine stops/runs hairy etc.....the coil is bad. Fuel? Check that the vent on the cap...

    Tracks and solid tires

My main concern with tracks, would be the increased load on the drive chains???? When I got my S185, I saw a set of rubber tracks the dealer had......guess they would have some stretch factor IF a rock got between the tyre and track?

    I Upgraded :-)

2007 S185 Turbo machine cost me A$53,000 out the door, I got chucked in: FREE 50 & 100 hour services on my farm, 68" 4 in 1 with certified lift hook, wider offset wheels to match, rear axle counterweights, deluxe instrument panel, spare wheel. The usual PR gear, Bobcat jacket, hat, carry bag...

    I Upgraded :-)

I have just pensioned off my old 753C with 4200 hours and got a new S185 machine. I am hoping not too many parts on the new machine are....made in China :-) The new one came with 68" 4 in 1 bucket (61" is standard in Australia) has replaceable cutting edge. Got standard controls with deluxe...

    Failed Electrics 753

I fixed it! Next day I decided to get more serious, the fuses 'looked' fine, not blown etc. So...I tested them with a multimeter and 3 of them showed open circuit, however if I twisted them, they came good. I still can't make out how 3 of them died at the one time, except that maybe some water...

    873 Oil Leak

If its a leak from the head gasket, you could do a temp possible fix by retensioning the head down, a little over spec. YMMV

    Failed Electrics 753

Hi all, My 753 has an electrics problem. Loss of analogue guages volts, fuel level and hyd oil temp, along with guage backlighting. Also lost front floodlights and rear tail lights. no instrument idiot lights either. However, machine starts, runs fine and it appears the alternator is charging...

    Used skid steers

I bought my 753 with 4000 or so hours on it. It came from a Dealer with a fresh 250 hour service and I wanted the hydraulics flow tested to check the main pump. The Kubota 4cyl engine fired up quickly and ran sweet. Could not find any major oil leaks only a slight weep from 1 ram on the 4 in 1...

    BOBCAT 553 won't start

The injectors are rebuildable, they will be checked for spray pattern and cracking pressure. At 1700hrs, they will probably require minimal work, nozzles shoulod not need replacement etc. Dealer may also simply fit an exchange set, if they do not do injector work in house. Either way, you should...

    BOBCAT 553 won't start

At least its fixed! But, best you do ALL of the injectors, not just one of them. At least the dealer was a help to you for no charge! I would patronise him in the future for parts etc, seems he is an honest one.

    BOBCAT 553 won't start

I would do some more diagnostics, before you let the dealer near it. Those wires obviously control a fuel solenoid of some description. My comments are generic as I have a 753. Pull the solenoid off the pump and confirm that it indeed works. I would not think its the pump UNLESS the drive is...
