I just noticed that my control valve was leacking. Is it possible to install new o- rings and seals without taking it out of the machine? What is involved in taking it out of the machine, how long should it take ? Can you get to it from the rear or front?

I'm definatly not afraid to do any of the work myself. The dealer said the motor might be leaking into the chain case. Seems to me a gasket would take care of this. Do you know where to get chains or should I just get on the internet? Do the cases crack? they said bobcat makes a plate to weld...

I have a completly rebuilt 1.6 I just put in my 642 and found out today that it was going to cost4000 to fix the chains and sprockets in my machine , so I may be selling my new motor with 0 hrs on it .Just break-in time. Give me a call if interesed 508-737-0996

I just brought my 642 gas machine to the dealer because it was making some funky noises from the chain case.They opened it up and said the bull gear on one of the drive motor was bad and the chains were tired.Do both motor gears have to be changed? They also said I would need to buy seal kits...

I plugged that soleniod on my 642 and it did not help . I beleive that soleniod slides in the main jet after the key is shut off to prevent dieseling.I could not get my 642 to run off choke after doing everything.

I just rebuilt the original 1.6 ford motor,starter exhaust ect...I started the motor and will onley run on 3/4 choke. Ive rebuilt carb, flange not bent , new fuel pump,fresh gas in tank and tank is clean.Vent cap is fine. I am at a loss. Will the selinoid on the foat bowl have any thing to do...
