I found a skid steer junk yard about 40 miles away. They have a 742 with a blown engine and Hydro pump. I got all the hoses and pipes I could off of it, a new looking lap bar, and a few other items for $200 US. He has parts all over the place in his building. It looks like about 10 loaders...

I would definitely check the pickup. Before I tore down my 743 for rebuild, I had a heck of a time getting it started. Sometimes it would start and seemed to run fine. Then nothing. I followed it back to the pickup. It was all gunked up.

Two 5 gallon buckets of crud and two hours of power washing. It had hydro leaks everywhere. Hydro controller leaked. Power shaft on pump leaked (it was bent from the engine and pump coming loose from each other before I got it.) There was an inch and a half of crud on the oil cooler.
