its a magneto coil inside the distributor

i have an old bobcat with a xh engine and it fires the spark plug when you turn it over the first time than it quits frieing how do you check the coil and how many oms should it be

i think its a 444 model bobcat. cap has 4 screws holding it on i think a 1960s model

im looking for a distributor cap (no:6517362) for a kohler engine or where i might find one thanks a million
