Assembling Vickers hydrostatic transmission on a L35. The parts catalog calls for a shim kit. I'm making my own gaskets,does it matter the thickness as far as the spool that holds the pistons clearance? It looks like on the pump and motor the spool sits past the case roughly 3/16 inch ?
