    753G temp gage misbehaving

I have a 2002 753G with 950 hours on it. Occasionally the temp gage swings wildly from green to yellow, sometimes even into the red, shutting the engine down. I was thinking stuck thermostat, but checking the engine temp with a FLIR, it is not hot. Even at idle and not operating anything the...

    2002 753 with SB200

It's only 6 bolts to pull the auger off. Rather than 160 mile round trip to drop it off and another 160 miles to pick it up, I'll at least have a stickybeak at it. If it looks major, I'll pop it on the trailer. Unfortunately tomorrow is the only day I have to do it and the high is -5F. cheers, Creek

    2002 753 with SB200

I bought it new last Sept, just finally got a chance to use it now. We got nailed with storm after storm last year, this year has been one of those really low snow years in our area. So this happened in the first hour of operation. Dealer will cover it, but I hate to haul it all the way over and...

    2002 753 with SB200

I finally had a chance to try out my Bobcat (Erskine) blower as we have not had our usual dose of winter snow. We got about 4" of fairly dense snow so I decided to give it a try. I know on these smaller machines the aux flow is low, so I went with the 66" wide SB200 so I wouldn't overpower the...

    753 aux wiring harness installation

I bought a SB200 66" snowblower for my 2002 753. Had to buy a new one as lots of used 6 footers around but not with the smaller motor. And I figured 6' may be too large for the 753. Anyway, I bought the Bobcat aux wiring harness which plugs right into the existing harness on the machine. The...

    Build your own snowblower?

Has anyone tried to make their own snowblower? I work at a company that has lots of metal fabrication equipment and there are 4 of us working here that have skidsteers and would like to have blowers. We could certainly fab up a copy of a Bobcat blower, but I am thinking the buyout parts would be...

    T190 16" tracks v. snow

A friend of mine is looking at buying a low hours 2007 T190. He wants to put a snowblower on it and mostly use it for moving snow. Tracks are preferred as he has a big area in front of his shop that is all pavers. We found a machine and talking to the owner he said he would not recommend the...

New to forum / new 753 owner

Thanks for the info Dan, I'll have to get a manual and figure out which port is which. Maybe someday I'll have a snowblower, they might need a case drain for the motor. I don't see a block heater on it, which is a bit odd for a machine from around here. Might look at putting one in, until then...

Hello, just joined today, but I have to say I used this site when I was researching on what skid steer to buy. There is a ton of knowledge and experience here, that is certainly an understatement. I was dealing on a 1986 643 but somehow ended up buying a 2002 753 with a heated cab and aux hyd...
