    Thanks for that, but I already checked the main wires and cleaned them up. That relay idea is really good, so I'll try to find that. From the pics it looks quite large (not what I expected). Thanks again for your input. I'll let you know.

    You know that's exactly what I was thinking, that there is a voltage drop in the system somewhere. That's why the starter works fine on the bench but not in the skid. I'll check that relay; it would make sense. Do you know, if it is in the fuse area or whereabouts?

    08 L170. 4000 hrs. On some occasions, the skid will not start. I can hear the starter solenoid kick in, but there is no turning over. I removed the starter and it turns over each time on the bench. Battery shows as OK with a tester. For some reason I'm thinking whether the seat pressure...

    L170 - needs a long time to start

    My L170 needs a long time to start up. It turns and turns and then slowly the engine starts over and then eventually it starts up. Also need to keep it at high rpm. If I turn to lower rpm she shuts off. Newer wix fuel filter. Any ideas? It feels like there is a low pressure in the fuel...

    LS 170 electronic parking brake adjustment

    No, nobody helped. I can't help sorry. My red light turns on, but the parking brake doesn't work. I dunno what is the procedure to check/adjust. The manual only details parking brake that is set with a lever.

    2011 L170 - what kind of engine

    Does anybody know what kind of engine is there in a 2011 L170? According to the Wix website, there are 2 versions: 2.0L (N844T Diesel ) or ISM Diesel 4/122 Eng. (4/122 Diesel ). The oil and fuel filters are different. What are the OEM part numbers for oil and fuel filters for a 2011 L170?

    Hello. I downloaded the manual and read the posts about the LS 170 parking brake adjustment, but it seems like the instructions are for manual set parking brakes. Can somebody please point me to how to do this on an electronically set parking brake? Thanks
