    300 Series John Deere

I come from the same back round. I did my fair share of wrench turning in garages. It’s a pain to have to move the booms up and down to access parts in the engine compartment. Something that doesn't need to be done for IR bobcats. And let's say your battery takes a dump in the JD and of course...

    300 Series John Deere

try to see what your working on around the massivly over built booms which have terrible geometry for the hydraulic rams to lift them. JD are extremely heavy for their power and lifting capacity, hence they'll be stable with a load but they'll get stuck easily in mud and are a real bear to tow...

    Cutting 3/8 plate?

Tazza, with my not so exact math conversion 3/8 inch steel is close to 9mm. I'm almost thinking something with some kind of liquid cooling/ lubrication injection might be a good idea. I know that one can get attachments for massonary saws that automatically squirt lube/coolant. And Jimi, Tazz is...

    Narrow cab

I'm going to differ on the opinion on the deere, I drive 240's and 250's for snow removal, the arm rests will cram you in, that cab is also a real pain in the a$$ to get in and out of the hydraulic struts that hold the door open never do, the crappy wiper always drops when ever you open the door...

    bolt on cutting edges

it looks like it will chew right threw pavement and scar up concrete pretty bad. However for dirt it looks like a pretty bad a$$ toy. Another aspect to it though is that it only has one edge on it, where as my bobcat edge is reversible. Consider this aspect to the cost of it.

    Battery Replacement Options

My 753 f series uses a BCA Group size 27 battery, I run a standard hd truck battery in mine, and the machine gets used at all kind of exreme angles with no probs. If you're going to intentionally beat the snot out of the machine i'd go with the prior ^ look up suggested gel cell orbital type...

oversize tires and tracks on 773g

Goodtech I was only kidding on that part. There's no way a turbo will fit in a 753 the wheel base is too short, placing the fan over the exhaust manifold and in the way of said turbocharger. That's why I went ahead and installed a Nx Express sleeper kit with 50hp shot on my machine. All the...

    smooth move

so i was out today moving some snow and brush out of the way for a snowmobile path onto the lake adjacent to my property today and due to the unseasonably warm weather; the surface I was on was not it's normal solid ice ontop of about 4 feet of frozen mud and water. Instead it was about three...

    Addiction or what.... 843 to a 773

Yenko I think you sould solve all these concernes of yours by removing the pcm, turbo and all required parts to work with it and ship them to my place, I rarely tow my machine so the turbo will have a good life on my 753. lol If you're woried about wind in the exhaust when towing, go to a farm...

    Addiction or what.... 843 to a 773

the G series part of the name is just the time period it was built in i want to say late 99-03 i think. As far as the tires and wheels go; one of the machines i run in the summer is a 98' F series 773 naturally aspirated and we usually run 14.5-16.5 tires on that with out any problems so far...

    Why do Bobcats catch fire?

it's really simple Tazza the engineers at bobcat care about you and know you need something to do with your free time. In all seriousness I'd agree with the dirtand oily grease build up causing most of these fires, another posibility is people hooking up electrical accessories without fuses or...

    Bobcat heater help

last time i checked i think the door from bobcat on my machine was close to $800 you could buy alot of lexan or plexi for that price.

    Bobcat heater help

i'd stick with at least an 1/8" thick plexi for the sides, any thing thinner will just flex when you go to bolt it down unless you make a frame for it. i posted a thread on this whole subject a month or two ago...
