I am looking at solid tires for my 743. the guy selling them says they are 200lbs. a tire any pros or cons to these tires they appear to have a valve stem in the rim so I assume there is some type of additive that makes them solid any help is appreciated thanks in advance mark

i changed the ring gear on my diesel 743 1985 vintage wandering if any one has the flywheel bolt torque spec. and the driveshaft coupler torque spec. thanks in advance mark

looks like i have a bad ring gear on the flywheel. just pulled the starter for inconsistent engagement about every fourth to fifth try, the pinion is badly worn but the ring gear is half gone. how bad is the motor to pull out? thanks in advance mark

should a 743 start in warm temps 50-60 without glowing the motor?

do most older 743 machine's have a working parking mine does'nt work either, I was hoping it might stop the machine from creeping thanks mark

i bought a running 743 that needs some tlc the first thing is the bucket bottom is rusted through in one or two spots and needs repair. I can weld and fabricate a new bottom, is there a downside to repairing it? I see new ones on e-bay for 400. plus shipping just trying to save wherever possible...

I am looking at a 1980 it seams to work fine but it does have an oil leak, i am going to tilt the cage up saturday and take a look, is there a downside to the different pump setup thanks mark
