Hello all, I am a proud new owner of a Bobcat 610 skidsteer! It is my first piece of equipment so lots to learn. I have down loaded a repair manual to help. My current issue is in the right side clutch assemblies. It wouldn't drive the right side so I hoped it was just the linings......not so lucky. Someone put it together improperly with the thrust bearing directly against the actuation washer, and the outer thrust bearing against the outer clutch housing. Needles to say it ate the surfaces on both. Anyone out there know of a source for these and other related parts? I am aware that bobcat sells most of them but my local dealer has a crazy markup on everything. Example: clutch linings normally 42, cost me 66 bucks each! I would even take lightly worn parts for the right price to get the thing going until I can afford to rebuild both sides completely. There are other things that also need some attention but for now this will get it moving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Can't wait to play with my new toy.

Let me address the example of the clutch linings first. Guys…..on these smaller parts especially, you can buy them from any dealer in the nation and have them UPS the parts to you. I live in Arizona and the Bobcat dealerships here charge outrageous prices on their parts….they are all owned by basically one family. I have done all my business with a dealership in California for 40 years. Most if not all M-600 series parts must be ordered anyway……have the dealership ship the parts directly to you from the warehouse….shipping costs are the same and you'll have it in hand sooner. The last clutch linings I bought cost $24.22…..I have recently switched to a "Kevlar" lining produced by Tribco……they are supposed to last several times longer and cost $32.60. They don't have any in stock at the moment as I bought everything they had but will have more soon. It will be interesting to see if they preform as advertised.

I hate not having an "edit" mode on this site…..that was supposed to be 'perform' not 'preform'. So, the thrust bearings…….on page 3-7 of the service manual, they refer to the "thrust washer"……that is actually a 'thrust race' Pt# 6540478……it takes 4 per each clutch assembly (2 on each side of each thrust bearing). I can't imagine that thing moving at all with out a couple of those races….wow! Depending on what you need, I may be able to help. Go to my profile for an e-mail address.

I will Take them for sure! and possibly other parts you may have left. I have barely begun to dig into the machine so I'm not sure what else I will need. Possibly some variable speed parts as well. This thing is definitely going to need some TLC so any parts you may have left could come in handy. Please contact me directly @ my Email in my profile so we may discuss further. I will be in Leeds Al this weekend. Are you anywhere near there? If not I will be back sunday and we can discuss payment and shipping specifics. Thank you for your response, Steve

Freddy, when you say complete clutch assemblies dose include the pins that mount them to the inside wall? just wondering cause I need at least one of those and the thread that is keyed to it as well. I say at least one cause I haven't even opened the left side of the machine yet since it works at the moment.
